This Microsoft Word Help & Tips page provides a Word Add-In to
facilitate determining word usage and frequency in a document. The
Add-In provides user interface via a UserForm to select options for the
usage and frequency report. The Add-In can report on all words in
a document, all words except user defined excluded words, or user
defined words only. |
|

|
|
The reported words can be sorted by descending frequency of use or
alphabetically. A report can be provided as a separate
document or appended to the existing document. |
|

|
|
The Add-In includes both a toolbar and menu command to dispay the
user interface. |

Download the template here:
Word Usage and
Frequency.zip
Then unzip the file to your Word Templates
directory and load it using Tools>Templates and Add-Ins. For more
on Add-Ins and how to load them, see the heading "Organizing Global
Templates" at:

Special thanks to fellow MVP

parts of this template. |
